About Hyundai Motor Türkiye
Since the launch of the Pony, developed with its own technology, Hyundai Motor Company has been a pioneer in the Korean automotive industry. Among its global production bases, the longest-serving overseas plant has been located in İzmit, Kocaeli, since 1997.
Hyundai Motor Türkiye is managed 97% by Hyundai Motor Group and, under the philosophy of "Progress for Humanity," produces "i10" in the A segment, "i20 and i20 N" in the B segment, and "Bayon" in the B-SUV segment at the İzmit plant. For the vehicles produced at the İzmit plant, Hyundai provides a "5-Year Manufacturer Repair Guarantee," a "5-year or 100,000 km guarantee" for diesel and petrol vehicles, and an "8-year or 160,000 km guarantee" for electric vehicles.
Hyundai Motor Türkiye offers its quality vehicles for sale all over Türkiye and contributes to the national economy by exporting these models to over 40 countries.
The plant, which has an annual production capacity of approximately 245,000, has produced over 3 million vehicles to date. With more than 60 authorized dealers and services in Türkiye, it is the 13th largest company and the 5th largest automobile manufacturer in the country. Hyundai Motor Türkiye is the first plant among Hyundai Motor Company's plants to receive the 5-Star Quality Award. Hyundai Motor Türkiye contributes $1.3 billion to the Turkish economy through direct and indirect investments and provides employment for over 20,000 people, including 2,500 employees and 17,500 suppliers.

First entry to Turkish market in 1990. By agreement with Kibar Holding, It's decided to establish Hyundai car manufacturing plant.

The factory, whose foundations were laid in Izmit in 1995, began mass production with the Grace and Accent models on July 1, 1997, and the production of different versions of the Accent model continued until 2012.

Taking place in the international platform after the millennium, Hyundai has made investments in quality, design and production systems by strengthening its image as a world brand, and started to export the Accent it produces to the Gulf countries. In addition, it started to produce the panel van model Starex in 2002, and the production of the model continued until the end of 2007.

Production of the Matrix model started with a new project in the first quarter of 2007, and the production of the model continued until the last month of 2010.

With the new investments made in 2010, a capacity increase was achieved. The first versions of our much loved i20 model have started to be produced. The model, whose technology and design has been renewed, is now produced with a local rate of over 60 percent and exported mainly to Europe.

The i10 model, which is the strong player of the A
segment, which started in 2013 and has been produced in various versions until today, was renewed with more comfort and technological features, and the production of the model continues. -
The number of vehicles exported from the Hyundai Assan factory, which celebrates its 20th anniversary, reached one million.
